Inqilab March: Security forces deployed for Qadri's rally in Islamabad

Heavy security maintained at the sight of Qadri's rally in Islamabad.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Tahirul Qadri will address the marchers at Aabpara Chowk of Islamabad in the afternoon after 12PM, Dunya News reported. The Bomb Disposal Squad (BSD) is reviewing the security situation at Aabpara Chowk and nearby areas. Heavy contingents of police have been deployed to ensure the security of the rally partakes. The Bomb Disposal Squad is examining the stage set up for Tahirul Qadri’s speech where as the police is also inspecting the nearby areas. Besides, CCTV cameras have been placed at the sight of the rally to review the law and order situation.

People have started gathering for the rally once again at Suharwardi Road of Islamabad. PAT activists have gathered at the Suhrawardi Road near Abpara area of Islamabad to stage the protest rally against Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s government. The preparations for the rally are in process. Thousands of Qadri’s followers have assembled at the sight of the rally while many still continue to join in. Apart from men, the crowd includes women and children amassed in large numbers. The crowd has wisely brought along basic items for use in times of need. According to the followers of Qadri they have come to Islamabad following the order of their chief and will not leave until they bring revolution.

Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Tahirul Qadri on Saturday presented ‘Charter of Demands’ of his party s Inquilab March. Qadri said in his address to the ‘revolution march’ participants that the justice and revenge of martyrs of Model Town tragedy warrants ‘revolution’.

Presenting his ‘charter of demands/revolution’, he demanded Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif to step down immediately. He demanded law enforcement to take them into custody and try them as per the law and charges.He demanded Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) to put Sharif brothers on Exit Control List (ECL).
