COAS holds Corps Commanders' Conference today

The agenda is to discuss country's security and the progress on operation Zarb-e-Azb.
RAWALPINDI (Dunya News) – Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif is presiding over Corps Commanders’ Conference at the General Headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi to discuss country s security situation.
According to the Inter Service Public Relations (ISPR), the agenda of the conference is to review the internal and external security situation of the country. Furthermore they would examine all the progress on the operation Zarb-e-Azb being carried out in North Waziristan till today. The targets that had been set for the operation Zarb-e-Azb would also be discussed.
The meeting is being held at the time when the government is currently under a lot of pressure and threat as its being held responsible for massive election rigging and corruption.
Corps Commanders’ Conference is held to discuss army’s operational affairs and preparations.
