CJCSC Rashid Mahmood calls on PM Nawaz Sharif
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif's meeting with General Rashid Mahmood
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) -- Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had meetings with General Rashid Mahmood, Chairman Joint Chief of Army Staff Committee (CJCSC), and Asif Sandila, Chief of Naval Staff on Friday, Dunya News reported. Matters ranging from Operation Zarb-e-Azb to the security of the country were discussed.
Prime Minsiter Nawaz Sharif had the two meetings in Islamabad on Friday to discuss security concerns. Apart from operation Zarb-e-Azb, the security issues facing Pakistan were brought under discussion. Meanwhile, Navy Chief Admiral Asif Sandila also met Nawaz Sharif. Stressing the importance of the Pakistan Naval force, Nawaz Sharif said that the role of Navy in the defense of Pakistan can’t be ignored. All the resources will be utilized to meet the requirements of Pakistan’s navy.
