PPP observes Black Day today

On July 5, 1977 former military dictator General Zia-ul-Haq imposed martial law in the country.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) is observing Black Day today (Saturday) throughout the country to mark the imposition of martial law by General Ziaul Haq.
On July 5, 1977 former military dictator General Zia-ul-Haq imposed martial law in the country dismissing the government of PPP led by their founder leader Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and stayed to the rule for 11 years despite promising to hold elections within 90 days.
