Govt showing 'undemocratic' behavior over PTI protest: Qureshi
PTI members do not intend to derail democracy, Shah Mehmood Qureshi said.
ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) vice chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi on Saturday said that government is showing undemocratic behavior ahead of May 11 protest, Dunya News reported.
Addressing a press conference at PTI Central Secretariat in Islamabad, Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that Punjab government is creating hindrances for party workers.
Government seems puzzled ahead of May 11 protest rallies, he said.
To a question, he said wrong tactics are being and thePML-N government is exaggerating the situation.
Shah Mehmood Qureshi said federal and Punjab government will be held responsible if any untoward incident happened.
He also clarified that PTI members do not intend to derail democracy, neither they are working on anyone else’s behest.
