Voting underway at 21 polling stations of NA-202 Shikarpur
Strict security is in place to avert any untoward incident.
SHIKARPUR (Web Desk) – Polling is underway at twenty one polling stations of NA-202 constituency in Shikarpur district of Sindh, Dunya News reported.
The polling began at 8.00 am and will continue till 5.00 pm.
During May 11, 2013 general election, National Peoples Party (NPP) candidate Ibrahim Jatoi defeated Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) candidate by 1254 votes.
Aftab Shaban Mirani had challenged the results in a local election tribunal, blaming Jatoi for rigging.
Sukkur election tribunal had ordered re-election on the seat after National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) verified only 2,320 out of 16,469 votes as correct.
