PM Nawaz arrives in Turkey on three-day official visit

The PM will attend the Pak-Afghan-Turkey Trilateral Summit in Ankara and hold important meetings.

ANKARA (Web Desk) - Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif arrived in Turkey Wednesday on a three-day visit to attend the Pakistan-Afghan-Turkey Trilateral summit in Ankara. He was received at the airport by Turkish Minister of Environment Idris Gulluce.
According to Radio Pakistan, during the summit‚ the PM will have extensive interaction with Turkish President Abdullah Gul‚ Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Afghan President Hamid Karzai.

He would also separately meet the President and the Prime Minister of Turkey to review bilateral relations with focus on economic cooperation.

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif would also hold meetings in Istanbul with the Chairman/CEO of major Turkish companies.

The Ankara Trilateral summit would carry forward the process of constructive engagement and leadership exchanges on the evolving situation as well as matters of common interest.
