Army Chief says army ready to deal with challenges

LAHORE (Web Desk) - Chief of Army Staff General Ashraf Pervez Kayani has said that army is capable of dealing with any internal or external threat and to guard the national frontiers.
Addressing a key distribution ceremony of 800 flats among the heirs of Pak Army martyrs in Lahore today (Tuesday), he paid a rich tribute to the soldiers who sacrificed their lives while protecting human lives and national sovereignty.
The Army Chief highly lauded valuable sacrifices of the armed forces.
He said that four hundred flats will also be established‚ under this scheme‚ in next phase which will be extended up to six thousand housing flats.
He said that the martyrs of AJK will also be included in this scheme.
