Abbottabad: Five cops injured in clash with militants
At least five police officials were injured in exchange of fire with militants in Abbottabad.
ABBOTTABAD (Dunya News) - According to details, police launched a search operation in Mangal area near Abbottabad on a tip-off that militants are present in the area.
An encounter between police and militants took place in which five police officials, including one SP, one DSP, one Inspector and two other cops sustained injuries.
At least three alleged terrorists were also arrested during the search operation. The arrested persons were shifted to some undisclosed location.
Meanwhile, security has been put on high alert in Hazara Division. Security has also been beefed up at Haripur Jail and government offices in Mansehra after the search operation.
