Indian Deputy High Commissioner summoned to FO
Foreign Office says it is responsibility of India to ensure security of Pakistani diplomatic staff.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – Pakistan Wednesday registered strong protest with the India government by summoning Indian Deputy High Commissioner to Pakistan to the Foreign Office.
Pakistan conveyed its concern over the incident of attack on Pakistani High Commission in New Delhi by Congress party supporters.
The Indian Deputy High Commissioner was told that the security of the Pakistani High Commission and Pakistan House was responsibility of the Indian government.
The Foreign Office also stressed on the need to ensure the security of Pakistani diplomatic staff in India.
According to the Foreign Office spokesman‚ protesters gathered outside the Indian High Commission and chanted slogans against Pakistan.
The Congress party s youth wing tried to enter the Pakistani High Commission, FO spokesman said.
