Courts decision cant make everyone happy: CJ Iftikhar

Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry on Wednesday said the court always gives verdict on merit. The decision makes one party happy and the other angry.Chief Justice was talking to a delegation of Rawalpindi Bar Council that called on him in Islamabad. CJ Iftikhar said Supreme Courts decisions belonged to the public and judges responsibility is to give verdicts according to the constitution. He said the Bar Council and the bench should continue working for the supremacy of law. CJ told that healthy debate was conducted on Supreme Judicial Policy and positive results of that are being witnessed. He urged lawyers to think beyond housing colonies and plots.
