MQM referendum underway
Polling would be conducted till 5:00 pm across the country.
KARACHI (Dunya News) - Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) on Thursday conducted intra-party referendum for taking opinion from workers to join PPP government in Sindh or not.
Ballot boxes have placed in sectors, zonal offices and party offices in Karachi, Hyderabad, other cities and town of Sindh and others provinces.
Polling would end at 5:00pm in the evening
The results of the referendum will be announced by MQM chief via telephonic address from London.
MQM gave call for intra-party referendum call for referendum after a delegation of PPP, led by Rehman Malik, visited MQM headquarters Nine-Zero and formally invited them join the Sindh government.
