Loans were not forgiven on political basis, Musharaf
Former president Pervaiz Musharaf said that he did not forgive loans on political basis in his reign. In a statement issued from London, he said that accusation of forgiving more than Rs 6 million is part of a propaganda campaign against him. He had only forgiven the loans of the victims of drought, flood and earthquake in Balochistan, Sindh and Azad Kashmir.
