Massive power outage hits Lahore, Islamabad

The citizens in Lahore and twin cities spent night between Thursday and Friday without electricity.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – A massive power outage hit Lahore, Islamabad and Rawalpindi and the citizens in these cities spent the night between Thursday and Friday without electricity.
The areas in Lahore including Model Town, Iqbal Town, Johar Town, Rang Mehal, Garhi Shahu, Gulshan Ravi, Batapur, Islamabad and Sanda are without electricity for the past eight hours. The citizens in these areas are also facing water shortage.
The citizens in different areas of Islamabad and Rawalpindi are facing long and unannounced power outage.
In sectors I-10 and G-7 in Islamabad, people are facing up to 6 hours unannounced power outage daily besides the scheduled load shedding.
On the other hand, residents of Dhok Ratta, Mohanpura, Dhok Jalal, Raja Bazaar, Satellite Town, Sadiqabad, Dhok Kala Khan are facing up to four-hour unannounced power outage daily.
