Sheikhupura: Landlord kills youth over land issue
The sole brother of six sisters was brutally tortured to death Monday by landlord over land issue.
SHEIKHUPURA (Dunya News):-According to sources, disciple of an influential landlord had been pressurizing the poor man Zafer Iqbal for long time and demanding a route from a plot which was in possession of the victim hailing from Baghanwali Karyal in the area of Safdarabad.
Over refusal, miscreants patronized by the landlord Buta took Zafer Iqbal from his home and mercilessly beat him at the crossroad of the village with rods and sticks and ultimately escaped the site of occurrence.
The victim was shifted to local hospital from where he was referred to Lahore but unluckily he succumbed to injuries.
Heirs told the media that landlord Buta wanted to achieve some portion of victim’s land by force.
Police have registered the case against accused; however, no accused could be arrested till the file of news.
