Electoral process underway, no interruption acceptable: CJP
Chief Justice of Pakistan says forthcoming elections should be fair and transparent.
ISLAMABAD (Dunya News):-A three-member bench headed by Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry conducted hearing of the writ petition moved by Mubashar Hassan regarding fair polls.
While commenting his remarks, Chief Justice said that everything has been made clear and candid in the verdict of Tahirul Qadri case. If anybody has complaint about the character and background of any candidate, he may put the issue before the Election Commission as it has been empowered to review everything regarding scrutiny.
The Chief Justice consulted the petitioner that what is link of Bilawal Bhutto with the petition as he has been made a party.
The Chief Justice also pinpointed that there were errors of spellings in the petition; those common errors should be removed before the next hearing of petition on Wednesday.
