Sindh Assembly dissolved

Sindh Governor Dr Ishrat-ul-Ibad Khan signed the summary of dissolution of the provincial assembly.
KARACHI: Governor dissolved the Sindh Assembly on Tuesday night on the advice of Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah.
The Sindh Assembly was dissolved 16 days earlier than the completion of its constitutional tenure.
The constitutional tenure of the assembly had to end on April 5 as the Sindh Assembly members had taken oath on this date after 2008 general elections while the provincial cabinet had taken oath on April 11.
Initially, the number of cabinet members was 21 that later jumped to more than 40 ministers.
Syed Qaim Ali Shah would serve as CM till the appointment of caretaker chief minister of Sindh.
