Peshawar attack: Several suspects held in search operation
Police and FC launched search operation in different areas of Peshawar and held several suspects.
PESHAWAR (Agencies) - Security forces were conducting a search operation in adjacent areas of Peshawar in the wake of Monday’s suicide attack on Judicial Complex.
According to sources, scores of suspects were arrested in the operation carried out by FC and police here on Tuesday.
Two suicide bombers attacked a judicial compound in Peshawar on Monday, killing four people and taking hostages.
One bomber blew himself up outside the complex, causing the deaths, while the other entered the complex in an apparent bid to storm into a jail and release militants held there. He took hostages and was later shot dead by security forces.
Later, the attackers were killed by the Pakistan Army troops who got the hostages released.
