Imran lays foundation stone of SKMH in Peshawar

PTI chief Imran Khan laid down foundation stone for Shaukat Khanum Memorial Hospital in Peshawar.
PESHAWAR (Dunya News): Speaking during foundation laying ceremony of Shaukat Khanum Memorial Hospital (SKMH) and Research Centre in Hayatabad area of Peshawar, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chief Imran Khan said that the project of cancer hospital would be completed in the period of two and a half years with the cost of Rs 2 billion.
Imran said that people living in the province will be benefited from the hospital as ratio of cancer is higher in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa as compared to other parts of the country, adding that he and his party had no political interest behind taking such public friendly initiative.
He also praised the provincial government for providing land for the cancer hospital. He said that the provincial government of KPK had provided the best place for the cancer hospital, informing that the Sindh government had provided a land for hospital far from the city.
