Thousands of protestors are demanding action against the extremists behind Saturday's attack.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) – As countrywide protests continue against latest deadly bombing in Quetta, Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf ordered the concerned authorities to carry out targeted operation in the city.

A statement issued by Prime Minister Raja Pervaiz Ashraf s office on Tuesday provided no details about the operation or exactly who would be targeted.

It simply says that the operation aims to eliminate "those responsible for playing with lives of innocent civilians."

Earlier today, security forces killed four suspects and arrested seven others accused, including a purported mastermind of a devastating bomb attack that killed 90 people.

The operation was carried out on the outskirts of the southwestern city of Quetta, where thousands of Shia protestors are demanding army protection and refusing to bury the victims of Saturday s bomb attack on their ethnic Hazara community.
