CM Hoti survives suicide attack
The incident took place near College Chowk in Mardan.
MARDAN (Dunya News) - A suicide bomber failed on Friday in an assassination attempt on Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Amir Haider Khan Hoti.
According to details, the chief minister was on his way to attend a rally when a suicide bomber blew himself up near his convoy.
At least two people were injured in the incident, a police official confirmed.
“Chief Minister was going by road today due to bad weather condition” he added.
Security forces have cordoned off the blast site and launched search operation in the area.
