Measles claims 3 lives in Toba Tek Singh
At least three children died of measles in TT Singh while four others were admitted in hospital.
According to details, three children named Muhammad Qamar, Muhammad Ali and Tayyab died of measles epidemic in village 265-GB near Toba Tek Singh. The dead included two real brothers.
Teams of Health Department reached the affected village and started vaccination in the area. Residents said that the dispensary in the village is closed for the past two months and lack of proper treatment caused the deaths.
