Shahbaz vows to make Bahawalpur separate province
Punjab CM Shahbaz Sharif says PML-N will make separate provinces of Bahawalpur and South Punjab.
BAHAWALPUR: Addressing a free solar lamps distribution ceremony among brilliant students of government schools and colleges at Islamia University Bahawalpur on Tuesday, he said that if the PML-N comes into power it would make both the capital and Governor’s House of Bahawalpur province in Bahawalpur while the capital of South Punjab would be Multan.
He said that the ploy of Bahawalpur South Punjab province was neither acceptable to PML-N nor to the people of Bahawalpur and South Punjab.
He claimed that he would transform the darkness, which President Asif Ali Zardari had spread during last five years, into light. He said that due to the wrong policies by the government the agriculture, industries, education and other sectors of the country have been destroyed.
