PML(N) leader Saifuddin Khosa joins PPP
Saifuddin Khosa, son of PML-N senior leader Zulfiqar Khosa, has joined PPP.
Son of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) senior leader Sardar Zulfiqar Khosa, Saifuddin Khosa has announced to join Pakistan People’s Party along with his companions.
Announcing his joining of the PPP in Islamabad Wednesday‚ Saifuddin Khosa said he had serious reservations on different policies of Pakistan Muslim League-N.
Besides the PML(N) is not serious for the creation of South Punjab. He said he is joining the PPP for his sincerity and efforts for the creation of the new province.
Saifuddin Khosa said the Benazir Income Support Programme is helping the poor segments of society in South Punjab with full transparency. He said he has now joined the PPP and he will abide by its decisions.
President of Women Wing of PPP Faryal Talpur welcomed Saifuddin Khosa for joining the party and said his joining will further strengthen the PPP. She said his party has always followed the politics of principles for the welfare of the people.
In his remarks‚ Secretary General of PPP Jehangir Badr said the PPP reprsents the will of the people and we welcome people belonging to all areas in its fold. He said we will bring social and economic changes in the lives of the people through joint efforts.
Information Minister Qamar Zaman Kaira‚ speaking on the occasion‚ said each segment of the society has representation in the PPP. We do not forget our old workers but at the same time our doors are open for the new entrants.
He said the pro democractic people will vote in favor of Pakistan People’s Party.
Federal Minister Makhdoom Sahabuddin appreciated contributions of Saifuddin Khosa s family in politics. He said Saifuddin Khosa is an upright person and hoped he will carry forward the flag of PPP for the rights of the people
Meanwhile, a former MNA of PML-N from Okara Rao Qaser Ali Khan met Faryal Talpur in Islamabad and also joined PPP along with his collegues Rao Safdar Ali Khan and Rao Jalal Khan.
