Manmohan seeks Pak cooperation in countering terrorism

Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh said that he is ready to hold talks on all outstanding issues with Pakistan. He said that India had taken many steps in this regard as it issued visas due to which tourism and trade increased. He said that he wanted to establish peace but terrorism activities hindered the peace process between both the counties. He said that terrorists want to destabilize Pakistan as they dont believe in harmony and peace. He said, I am in no doubt that Pakistanis want good relations and durable peace; similarly we want peace. He said that trade facilities are less on border which needs to be enhanced. He said that many people are detained in jails of our two countries and this problem should be solved as soon as possible. The issue of terrorism should have to be solved to bring the traders, families and prisoners of both of the countries close, he stressed. Manmohan said that he requests to the Pakistani government to wipe out the evil elements involved in the terrorism activities in India. Pakistan should eliminate terrorists hideouts and networks and brought them to justice, he insisted. Manmohan said that Pakistan itself is dealing with the real face of terrorism. He hoped that the Pakistani government will completely get rid of these terrorists. He said that he appeals to the the Pakistani government for its complete cooperation in countering terrorism from the region. He said that he wants to discuss all issues with Pakistan.
