Intermittent rain continues in different parts
Intensity of cold to increase in upper and central parts of the country during next two days.
Intermittent rainfall continued in Gilgit Baltistan, Upper Punjab and Zhob division on Thursday, Metrological Department reported.
A spokesman of Met Office said the spell of moderate to light rain will continue till Friday morning. Khuzdar has received highest rain of 25 mm and Karachi 18 mm.
Meanwhile‚ emergency service has been launched in some parts of Karachi due to roads’ inundation.
There are reports of snowfall in Kalaam‚ Malam Jabba Murree and Galiyat. This spell of snowfall is expected to continue till Saturday.
Road link with Ziarat in Balochistan has also been cut off due to heavy snowfall in the area.
