Balochistan Assembly member and former federal minister, Yar Muhammad Rind was taken into custody after the Supreme Court rejected his plea submitted against trial court’s verdict.An Anti-Terrorism Court in Quetta had awarded life imprisonment to MPA Sardar Yar Mohammad Rind for allegedly kidnapping a man and deliberately not appearing before the court.During today’s proceeding, Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry directed the authorities to keep Rind at Secretariat police station.On the occasion, Yar Muhammad Rind remarked that sentence against him was announced by the court in his absence.He also accused provincial chief minister of murdering his son.
