At least five people were killed in different incidents of firing and violence in Karachi.

A mutilated dead body of a youth was found from Site Area who was identified as Akram Khan. Police has shifted the body to hospital for autopsy.A man namely Qasim was shot dead by unidentified persons near the shrine of Jaman Shah in the jurisdiction of Klakot police station in Lyari.In another incident a man was gunned down in Golimar area while a woman was shot dead in Itehad Town in Baldia area.Meanwhile, some unknown people were trying to loot a bus in Mehmoodabad Chanesar Goth area when the police arrived. The accused opened fire and injured a police official while a man was shot dead in Ranchor Line.Moreover, the residents of Kati Pahari area pelted stones and set a motorcycle on fire while protesting against firing incident in which a citizen was injured.
