Accountability court of Lahore has extended the remand of former GM railways to 15 days.
During the hearing of scrap scandal case, the NAB prosecutor stated that the investigation has been completed and it is revealed that former general manager of Railways Saeed Akhtar was also involved in the corruption of repairing of Chinese engines. The prosecutor requested the court to extend the remand for 25 more days.Extending the remand for 15 days in Chinese engines repairing case, the court directed NAB to carry out Saeed Akhtars medical checkup, adding to bring the culprits to surface as soon as possible.Meanwhile, the prosecutor further explained that members of the executive committee were also involved in the repairing case along with Saeed Akhtar.
