Gilani chairs meeting over new terms ties with US, NATO

PM Gilani chaired high level meeting to discuss new term of re-engagement with US and NATO.

A high-level meeting was held at the PM’s House under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani on Wednesday evening. The meeting was attended by Minister for Defence, Chaudhry Ahmed Mukhtar, Minister for Finance, Dr. Abul Hafeez Shaikh, Minister for Foreign Affairs, Ms. Hina Rabbani Khar, Minister for Interior, Rehman Malik, Pakistan Ambassador to US Ms. Sherry Rehman, Chief of the Army Staff, General Ashfaq Pervez Kiyani, DG, ISI, Lt. General Muhammad Zaheerul Islam and Foreign Secretary Jalil Abbas Jilani. The meeting took stock of the recent developments in the region and discussed matters related to Afghan peace and reconciliation and new terms of re-engagement with US/NATO/ISAF in accordance with the recommendations of the Parliament.
