Foreign teams unable to continue rescue work: ISPR

Director General ISPR said it was not possible for foreign teams to continue rescue work in Siachin

Director General ISPR Major General Athar Abbas has said rescue teams of Germany‚ Switzerland and the US have gone back from Gayari sector as it was not possible for them to continue rescue work in harsh weather.In an interview he said that situation is also grave and foreign rescue teams are also helpless to deal with the Gayari disaster. However he said that a US and Norwegian teams are still busy in their work.Athar Abbas said despite hostile weather we are not disappointed and still hopeful for a miracle.
