Nawaz demands early elections

PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif has demanded early elections and said the PPP govt was increasing problems.

Nawaz Sharif was addressing a joint conference with former PPP senator Anwar Baig who announced to join PML-N on Wednesday.Nawaz said that the nation was not ready to tolerate the government anymore. The government had better announce election, he said. He said that scandals of corruption of the government have been emerging on daily basis.Talking about the Nato supply resumption, the former PM said that prime minister and Parliamentary Committee on National Security (PCNS) have too been informed about PML-N stance.He further said there was no change in his partys stance over the Nato supply resumption. He said he has informed the US Ambassador about the qualms, in this respect.He further said clamping curfew was not the solution of the problem. He said if the center had guided the situation then the situation might not be worsened as it is today, adding the government was not competent to resolve the issue.Criticising governments foreign policy, he said was failed to perceive what the kind of governments foreign policy was. He further said Pakistan should not be isolated.He said that recent statements of President Asif Ali Zardari had proved that the PML-N was not a friendly opposition.The ML-N chief categorically stated that those quit PML-N over dictators behest would not be taken back. Even those who were talking to select Musharraf for ten times in uniform and those harmed the party would never be taken back in the party, he said.On this occasion, Anwar Baig said that the county was passing through crucial time and the PML-N was the only party that could steer Pakistan out of all the crises.Nawaz Sharif announced that former Senator Anwer Baig would be appointed as Member Central Executive Council (CEC).
