Lt Gen Zaheerul Islam will take charge of new DG of Inter Services Intelligence (ISI) tomorrow.

Lieutenant General Zaheerul Islam will assume the charge of new director general of Pakistan’s premier intelligence agency, Inter Services Intelligence (ISI) tomorrow to replace gen Shuja Pasha who is retiring today..Islam has earlier served as the deputy director general of the ISI as a major general. He was then promoted to the rank of lieutenant general and was appointed as corps commander Karachi.Lieutenant General Zaheerul Islam belongs to the 13 infentory unit Punjab Regiment also seved as GCO Murree.
