(Reuters) - An image that appears to show U.S. actor Tom Hanks wearing an anti-Trump t-shirt is digitally altered. In the original image, published by outlets in August 2022, Hanks can be seen wearing a plain navy t-shirt.
One user shared the altered image on Twitter on Sept. 14, 2022, with a caption that reads: “Is that you tome [sic] hanks?...how about we keep america hanksless!!!!...” (here). The tweet had more than 2,000 likes at the time of writing.
