Chef Wolfgang Puck previewed the food to be served to guests at the Academy Awards.
The menu for the official Oscars after-party was rolled out on the red carpet Thursday (February 23) for a sneak peak by reporters, cameramen and photographers.Its going to be the best buffet in town: the annual Governors Ball is switching from formal dining to a more lounge-like experience with 50 different dishes prepared by celebrity chef Wolfgang Puck.This will be Pucks 18th year creating the menu for the party, where more than 1500 guests from the Oscar ceremony will mingle before heading off to various parties around Los Angeles.Since celebrities will have to eat and circulate at the same time, this years plates are little in size, ranging from one-bite hors doeuvres to small-plate entrees that will be passed throughout the evening.The food and desserts were on display for media to get s sneak peek and taste test. Puck said he always like feeding a hungry crowd.You are only on a diet two weeks before the Academy Awards. Once the ceremony is over, everybody is hungry and hunger make every chef look good, said Puck.
