Woody Allen wins WGA award

US actor and director Woody Allen has added another prize to a long list of awards.

The Writers Guild of America announced that the 76-year-old filmmaker was the winner of its best original screenplay award for his movie Midnight in Paris.The film, which stars Owen Wilson, has already been nominated for four Oscars in the best picture, best director, best screenplay and best artistic direction categories.It was the fifth time that Allen was awarded by the guild one of its top prizes. --AFP
