(Web Desk)  –  Actor Kaiser Nizamani has shared a harrowing account of a near-miss aboard a private flight from Lahore to Karachi, calling it a moment that could have ended in tragedy if not for the pilot’s quick action.

Taking to Instagram on Saturday, Nizamani posted a video and a photo of his boarding pass to describe the alarming experience. Just seconds before takeoff at Lahore Airport, the plane was forced to make an emergency stop after a bird struck the aircraft.

“Captain applied emergency brakes a few seconds before takeoff, saving hundreds of lives,” the 58-year-old actor wrote.

“Authorities say it was a bird hit.”

Nizamani expressed deep gratitude for the pilot’s decisive handling of the situation, stating that had the plane taken off, the consequences could have been catastrophic.

He also used the incident to issue a public appeal, urging residents near airports to stop feeding birds—particularly meat and grains—which he warned increases the risk of bird strikes.

“The people who do this are actually playing with human lives,” he said in his video message.

Reflecting on the ordeal, Nizamani added, “Thank God we escaped a dangerous accident today. The pilot controlled the plane, otherwise there could have been a big tragedy.”

The actor also voiced frustration over the hours-long delay that followed the aborted takeoff. He noted that passengers were left waiting with no clear updates.

“I’ve been at the airport since 8 am, and by 6 pm, there was still no information on when we’d reach Karachi,” he said. “There isn’t even this kind of wait at international terminals.”
