The announcement sends fans into frenzy
(Web Desk) - Zayn is going on his first-ever solo tour, performing in the UK and US.
The former One Direction star confirmed the news during his appearance on US talk show The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
Zayn’s surprise appearance saw him hand Jimmy a note which read: “Hey Jimmy, great to see you mate.
“I’m going on me first-ever solo tour this autumn so maybe when you’re done picking apples with your buds, you can come check out my Stairway To The Sky Tour across the US and UK.
“Let me know what date you want tickets for.”
Zayn later confirmed the dates on Instagram, telling fans: “Appreciate your patience, love, and support. Can’t wait to enjoy great music together. This time I really mean soon see you in 35 days….”
General ticket sales will begin at 11 am on September 21, 2024.
But VIP Key holders will be able to get their hands on tickets during the pre-sale which began on September 19.
Fans will see the singer perform tracks from his fourth studio album Room Under The Stairs, which came out on May 17.
The tour will be held in intimate venues to highlight the raw and stripped sound of the critically acclaimed album.
Fans can expect to hear the songs along with fan favourites that have never been performed live.
The tour gets underway in the United States on October 23 in San Francisco.
