Abrar mentioned that political participation is his constitutional right and he may re-join politics
LONDON (Web Desk) - Singer and former leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Abrarul Haq was called by police in London after a heated argument and commotion during a concert.
Abrarul Haq, who recently bid farewell to the PTI and politics, was invited to London for a performance at a concert organised for the promotion of Pakistan's business tycoon's housing society.
The singer arrived in London as per the schedule and performed his famous songs, gathering a great crowd. However, during a media interaction after the concert, PTI workers encircled Abrarul Haq.
Due to the heated argument and fight between PTI workers, Abrarul Haq's guards and the authorities called police to control the chaotic situation. Later, the London police escorted Abrar's car back to safety by making a buffer zone around his vehicle.
Multiple videos of the incident are circulating on social media, showing Abrar performing and interacting with the media later. When asked by the media, Abrar stated that he had chosen to distance himself from politics voluntarily and he did not face any pressure.
He mentioned that political participation was his constitutional right and he could consider being part of it again in the future.
