Ritesh Sidhwani confirms scripting phase for Shah Rukh Khan's Don 3

MUMBAI (Web Desk) - Exciting news for fans of the Don franchise! Producer Ritesh Sidhwani has confirmed that Don 3 is currently in the scripting phase. Don, directed by Farhan Akhtar, is one of Bollywood's blockbuster film series and fans have eagerly awaited another sequel since the first installment celebrated its 16th anniversary in 2022.
On May 15, Sidhwani shared an update about the highly anticipated Don sequel. According to him, the third part is currently being developed in the scripting stage. In an interview, Sidhwani mentioned, "Till my partner (Farhan Akhtar) finishes writing it, we won't do anything. Right now, he is in the phase of completing the script... Even all of us are eagerly waiting to see Don."
The original Don film starring Shah Rukh Khan was released in 2006 and also featured Priyanka Chopra, Boman Irani, Arjun Rampal, Rajesh Khattar, Pavan Malhotra, Om Puri, and Isha Koppikar. In 2011, a sequel titled Don 2 was released, which brought back Priyanka, Om, Rajesh, Boman and introduced new cast members such as Kunal Kapoor and Lara Dutta.
