Malayalam actor Mamukkoya passes away at 76

KERALA (Web Desk) - Veteran actor from the Malayalam film industry of India Mamukkoya passed away at the age of 76 due to a heart attack.
According to Indian media, Mamukkoya was participating as a special guest in the opening ceremony of a football tournament in Wandoor area of Malappuram district of Kerala state when he collapsed suddenly.
According to media reports, the senior actor was immediately shifted to a hospital in Wandoor. The senior actor's condition was slightly better after getting first aid and he was answering questions, but he suffered a hemorrhagic heart attack due to which he did not survive.
Mamukkoya started his career in theater and made his film debut in 1979, after which he acted in several Malayalam films. He was awarded an award by the Kerala state government in 2004 in recognition of her services.
