MUMBAI (Web Desk) - Raveena Tandon expressed her gratitude for being awarded the highest award by the state saying it was her father's dream but unfortunately he is not present in the world to see this moment.
Raveena said I am grateful to the Government of India for being awarded this important honor. “I am thankful to all those people who have always guided me in this journey of the art and craft of cinema,” she added.
The ceremony was held at Rashtrapati Bhavan in Delhi, where the award was presented by President Draupadi Murmu to Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon, who is active in social work as well as films.
It should be noted that on the occasion of the Republic Day of India, the list of Padma Shri awardees was released by the government, which included the name of actress Raveena Tandon. Raveena was selected for the Padma Shri award in the field of arts.
