Lisa Loring of 'The Adams Family' dies at 64

LAHORE (Web Desk) - Lisa Loring, the actor who played the original Wednesday Addams in the "The Addams Family" television series from 1964 to 1966, passed away on Saturday at the age of 64 after suffering a stroke.

According to her daughter, Loring passed away peacefully with both of her daughters holding her hands. American actor Butch Patrick remembered Loring on Facebook and wrote that he was close to her and worked with her often. Recently, Loring s dance called "The Drew" gained newfound attention after the Netflix series "Wednesday," in which Jenna Ortega played the role of Wednesday Addams and performed a similar dance.

Loring was born in the Marshall Islands, began her career in modeling at the age of three, and later starred in a number of television series and movies, including "The Pruitts of Southampton," "The Girl From UNCLE," "Fantasy Island," and "Barnaby Jones." She also worked as a makeup artist for adult films under the name "Maxine Factor."
