(Reuters) - Bollywood superstar Salman Khan celebrated his birthday with the Indian media on Thursday in western Mumbai city.

The star who turned 53 this year cut a birthday cake and exchanged pleasantries with the media at midnight outside his farmhouse, where he traditionally celebrates his birthday every year.

Meanwhile, back in showbiz capital Mumbai, fans of the star started crowding outside Galaxy Apartments, where the actor lives and were seen waiting eagerly for Khan’s arrival.
