The singer rejected co-star's tweets and accusations.
LAHORE (Dunya News) – Pakistani singer Meesha Shafi’s legal counsel on Saturday has rejected legal notice served by the renowned actor Ali Zafar over sexual harassment allegations.
In her reply, she reaffirmed her allegations over Ali for sexually abusing her many times. She rejected to withdraw her claims at any cost and termed them truly based on facts.
After my bold step to speak out against the abuses of Ali, many other fellows also put the same allegations on him, Shafi added.
The singer further rejected co-star’s tweets and accusations in her reply to legal notice. She urged Zafar to take back his legal notice otherwise her lawyer will pursue civil and criminal proceedings against him.
Singer-cum-actress’s legal team comprises of Hina Jillani, Saqib Jillani, Nighat Dad and Muhammad Ahmed Pansota.
Meesha Shafi said that she had to delete her social media accounts due to Ali Zafar’s campaign against her for speaking the truth in a society where vocalization becomes crime.
