(Web Desk) – Hollywood actor Vin Diesel was named the highest grossing actor of 2017 by Forbes in their latest list as the Fate of the Furious actor collected USD 1.6 billion through his movies in the global box office.
The eight part of his Fast and the Furious franchise as well as xXx: The Return of Xander Cage opposite Bollywood diva Deepika Padukone helped him do impressively well in 2017. His net earnings in 2017 would be much higher as the USD 1.6 billion only represents global ticketing receipts.
Second in the list was Diesel’s co-star Dwayne Johnson in Fate of the Furious. He starred in Baywatch and Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle during the year that boosted his global grossing.
Gal Gadot also made it in the top 3 with her Wonder Woman and Justice League. She grossed about $1.4 billion worldwide.
Others in the list were Emma Watson, Johnny Depp, Daisy Ridley, Tom Holland, and Chris Pratt. Chris Hemsworth and John Boyega stood in the list of top 10 highest grossing actors.
