(Web Desk) – The trending cricket-entertainment couple, Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma, has been offered by the authorities at the iconic Adelaide Oval cricket stadium to get married in it after rumours of their planned wedding ceremony in Italy during next week.
Andrew Daniels, CEO of the iconic sports venue, told Indian media that the management of Adelaide Oval would be thrilled to host the wedding ceremony of Anushka and Virat. “How fantastic would it be for Virat to create more happy memories here, considering his outstanding playing history at the Oval,” he added
Kohli has had a prolific form at Adelaide in which he scored 624 runs after playing just eight innings of all formats. He has an average of 89 in the ground.
He has special memories in the groun with his debut Test ton in 2012, followed by two more centuries. He has his highest T20 score of 90 at the same venue.

Being a 146-year-old cricket stadium, Adelaide Oval has a space of over 200,000 people in the stands. It was recently renovated by spending millions of dollars to create more seats and make the stadium a great sight.
Apart from the cricket matches, the historic Australian ground allows private functions, including weddings. It costs Aus $ 159 per person (PKR 12666) or more to hold private functions. The high-end destination has marriage halls and space to accommodate guests as well as provide food and recreational activities.
Daniels assured that Kohli and his wife to-be will be impressed by the finest food and wine of South Australia, and told that there are 26 purpose-built halls to choose from for the wedding couple.
