Ghajini star Asin and her husband Rahul Sharma welcome baby girl
In a statement to media, they said they are ecstatic after arrival of newborn
(Web Desk) – Former South Indian actress who has also worked in Bollywood, Asin Thottumkal, and her husband Rahul Sharma have been blessed with a baby girl.
According to Indian media, they said they are ecstatic after the arrival of the angelic baby girl. “Last 9 months have been most special and exciting for both of us,” it was told in joint statement.
They also thanked their well wishers and those who have been part of their journey. “Thank you (everyone) for the love and support,” they added.
Asin kept her pregnancy and delivery a private affair. Her Khiladi 786 co-star Akshay Kumar also attended their wedding. In fact, he was the one who helped both get together. In reply, they made Akshay Kumar Best Man for their wedding.
The 31-year-old actress has starred in several South Indian and Bollywood movies. They worked with leading Indiana actors including Aamir Khan, Salman Khan and others. Ready, Ghajini and Houseful 2 are some of her popular films.
Later on, Indian star Akshay Kumar posed with their baby. He posted a photo on Twitter saying, "One joy which is completely unmatched...congratulations to my dearest friends Asin and @rahulsharma on the arrival of their little angel."
