IIFA announces venue for 2017 awards
IIFA has organised awards ceremonies in Singapore, Tampa, Macau, Madrid and other sites previously
(Web Desk) – International Indian Film Academy is set to organise this year’s awards in New York City on July 14-15 to much excitement from Anil Kapoor, Karan Johar and others.
The academy is the only platform that holds Bollywood awards in foreign countries unlike Filmfare, Zee Cine Awards, Apsara and a range of others whose venue primarily is Mumbai. Off course, there have been exceptions in the past.

IIFA awards have earlier been conducted in Malaysia, Singapore, Toronto, London, South Africa (twice), Amsterdam, Dubai, Bangkok, Macau, Colombo, Tampa of United States and the last one in Spain’s Madrid.
