Twinkle Khanna and Karan Johar go a long way back, they are childhood friends

(Web Desk) – Karan Johar misses no chance to admire and be vocal about his love for childhood friend and proclaimed crush, Twinkle Khanna and today on Monday she has suggested a sequel to one of Dharma Productions collab.

A Twitter banter between the two tells the tale today.

It started with Johar admiring superstar Akshay Kumar’s wife for her on-camera skills after her venture with Google India was released titled  Day with Pixel .

Khanna replied saying: "Since you are so impressed can I suggest a sequel to My Name is Khan – add 2 alphabets call it My Name is Khanna and cast me."

However, we know Mrs Funny Bones was just demonstrating her wit with the tweet but KJo reminded her that she had rejected his film sometime back. Infact, apparently, it was KJo’s first ever casting rejection by a female lead.

Fans get to see a lot many banters on social media among celebrities but it can’t get as pure as KJo and Twinkle as there is a sweet history at work.

Johar has stated on multiple occasions that Twinkle was his first ever crush and he was in a boarding school at the time.

Twinkle had launched her book titled “Mrs Funnybones: She’s Just Like You and a Lot Like Me” in 2015 and the launch was attended by Aamir Khan, husband Akshay and Karan Johar besides her mother, legendary Dimple Kapadia and many others.

KJo had fondly recalled then the kind of utter love he has for her and how he truly appreciates the wit she has.

Khanna is a former Hindi film actor who currently indulges herself in writing columns and has authored books.
